Boots on the Ground

We hosted a hugely successful Boots on the Ground with special guest Ray Goggins.

The meetup has become an important event in the Rhomberg Sersa calendar as it is one of the few occasions when staff gather together as staff typically carry out shift work around the country.

It follows on from our annual Safe Start which occurs in January.

While we have a strong focus on safety at the Boots on the Ground, we invest in booking well known and / or interesting speakers. This year we welcomed Ray Goggins, a former Army Ranger, who spoke to the team about resilience.

Darren Doyle, an expert on Human Factors, spoke about the important topic while our SHEQ lead, Aidan Langley, updated the team on Safety Spotlights which had been raised at the January event.

MD Billy Stamp gave a company update while breakout sessions with smaller groups focused on more specific topics.

Our next company event will be Safe Start in January 2026.
